There is no saying more appropriate to this restaurant than ‘looking for a needle in a haystack’. This old saying symbolises this hidden treasure within the Spiegelkwartier; a timeless, modern restaurant where you will always enjoy making return visits – once you have found it.
Spelt refers to the ancient wheat, which stands for quality and authenticity. This also characterises our dishes. Attention is devoted to an honest meal, prepared with fresh, pure products from Dutch soil.
A place where our guests are given time and where they take time to truly enjoy the dishes.
We offer seasonal dishes throughout the year, which will allow you to taste the surprising flavours of true Dutch food.
All our dishes are prepared in a tasteful manner with consideration for modern times, in order to ensure we do proper justice to these beautiful products.
Feel welcome and enjoy.
A surprise every time.

Always truly Spelt.

Our menu consists of Dutch Seasonal Products “straight from the cold soil”, beef from the Premium Butcher Piet v/d Berg and pork from the LIVAR monastery pig. Fish is caught responsibly and is fresh every day.
